Duties include, but are not limited to:
Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award: Assists Director, Programs with day-to-day management of this volunteer award program process, including development of plan, annual nominations, evaluation of nominees, finalist experience and final selection of winners. Works with Marketing team to ensure award's promotion and public relations fulfillment and to grow pool of eligible and qualified applicants from which the award is selected. Works with Director, Programs to ensure presenting sponsor integration and involvement.
Speediatrics Children's Fund: Assists Director, Programs with the research, planning and activation of a national program platform, integrating current program assets and leveraging new opportunities.
Serve as project manager for local market activations, including managing back-end logistics, coordinating with internal and external NASCAR stakeholders to secure support and integration, developing metrics to measure impact and more.
Works with Marketing team on development of impact stories and metrics to tell the story of Speediatrics impact in our racing communities.
Work with Programs Volunteer to provide assistance with logistics for national Speediatrics Children's Fund efforts.
Other Programmatic Efforts: Work with Director, Programs and Programs Volunteer to facilitate these additional programmatic efforts:
Employee Programs: Serve as project manager for The NASCAR Foundation's employee engagement program (Good Goes Round), including development of scalable campaign for internal and external partnerships, collaboration with Foundation team for execution of annual internal employee campaign, development of ongoing communication and messaging strategy to engage employees with the Foundation's mission to give time, talent and dollars in support.
Support select program partnerships and grant donations by working in collaboration and independently with Director, Programs, Foundation staff and key contacts. Responsibilities include establishing project goals/objectives, developing and managing project timeline, program execution, and conducting project evaluations.
Coordinate all at-track tours/requests; travel to the track to fulfill the activation of behalf of The NASCAR Foundation when necessary.
Assist in building charitable message and impact to fundraising events via strategic messaging.
Perform program assessments on all activations and partnerships.
Work with Director, Programs to build impact stories by proactively identifying and engaging recipients and their families, volunteers and donors with compelling stories to share, documenting experiences and writing summaries to be utilized as needed for marketing and development initiatives.
Respond to inquiries and requests (funding and other) in a consistent and timely manner.
Ensure check requests and payments are properly coded and submitted in a timely manner.
Evaluate grant database and assess improvements or changes.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
Three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training in nonprofit sector, program management, project management, community relations or grant giving, motorsports industry or agency experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
