Welcome to AFP, Volusia/Flagler Chapter!

The chapter is comprised of professionals from dozens of Volusia-Flagler’s largest nonprofits, educational institutions, foundations, and other, allied professionals that support philanthropy in our community as well as nurturing professional development among members. Please join us!

Monthly chapter meetings are designed to collectively promote philanthropy in our community, enhance best practices in the fund development field and offer ample opportunities to network and exchange ideas. Program tuition is $30 for non-members and a discounted tuition of $20 for members.  Lunch provided and meetings are typically at LPGA Clubhouse, Daytona Beach.

Membership dues for the chapter are $25 and membership information can be provided from Nina Truong, Membership Chair at truongn1@erau.edu or (386)226-6686.

The Donor Relations Coordinator maintains Donor Perfect, Stewart Marchman Act Foundation’s (SMAF) donor database, manages the donor acknowledgment process, assists with fundraising communications, and provides donor research and analysis. A qualified individual will have excellent proficiency in pc computer applications including the Microsoft Office suite, Donor Perfect database program, Constant Contact data base program great interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to quickly learn new systems and operate in a dynamic environment. Strong assets for this role include experience working with nonprofits, donors and volunteers. Part--time, 25 hours per week, typically during regular office hours 8:30 – 5:00 p.m. Employee may be asked to work weekend and evening hours, on occasion.
