Welcome to AFP, Volusia/Flagler Chapter!

The chapter is comprised of professionals from dozens of Volusia-Flagler’s largest nonprofits, educational institutions, foundations, and other, allied professionals that support philanthropy in our community as well as nurturing professional development among members. Please join us!

Monthly chapter meetings are designed to collectively promote philanthropy in our community, enhance best practices in the fund development field and offer ample opportunities to network and exchange ideas. Luncheon costs are $25 for members and $35 for non-member guests.

The SMA Foundation is seeking an Executive Director. The SMA Foundation Executive Director will raise funds and make friends in support of the work provided by SMA Behavioral Healthcare, a non-profit community substance abuse & mental health system serving Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia Counties in East Central Florida. The Executive Director is an energetic, forward-thinking and creative leader with highly developed interpersonal skills, ethical standards and professional image who is comfortable in the presence of a wide variety of groups and individuals. Thanks to the efforts of your chapter, our collaborative BE the CAUSE Campaign has raised $405,734 in gifts and pledges from 4,872 donors as of December 15, 2014.
